Visual Field

Patients are monitored with our Humprhey Field Analyser, which maps the level of peripheral vision. Having regular tests enables the opthamologists to assess the stability or progression of glaucoma and other eye conditions.

IOL Master

This measures the power of the intraocular lens (IOL) implant for cataract surgery.

HRT (Heidelberg Retina Tomography)

This scanner uses a special laser to take 3-dimensional photographs of the optic nerve and surrounding retina. Taking numerous images to form a 3-dimensional image of the entire optic nerve.

OCT Scan

An Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scan achieves high resolution pictures of the back of the eye. Commonly used for macular and optic disc problems. It is a non-invasive, painless test which requires looking at a light.

Pentacam

This is a comprehensive machine that analyses the entire cornea, anterior chamber and lens.

Yag / S.L.T / Argon Lasers

We have lasers in the centre dealing with a variety of eye conditions, such a glaucoma, retinal and capsular problems.

Heidelberg Spectralis

Combination scanner of the eye with high resolution for multiple conditions of the eye.
