Mr. Manoj Parulekar

Specialist interests: Children’s eye problems, squints, double vision and neuro-ophthalmic problems.
Mr. Parulekar has been a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon for 10 years, and works at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. He specialises in all aspects of children’s eye problems ranging from simple eyelid cysts to complex cases like eye cancer. Mr. Parulekar also has expertise in adult and childhood squints, and eyelid disorders in children.
Mr. Parulekar specialises in management of children’s eye problems including squints, droopy eyelids, watery eyes, and adults with squints, double vision and neuro-ophthalmic problems. He undertakes a wide range of surgical procedures, including squint surgery, ptosis surgery, tear duct (lacrimal) surgery.
Mr. Parulekar is Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham, and teaches medical students and residents. He also conducts tutorials for residents and medical students from the University of Oxford.
